This small console by Philco was one of their last with this dial.  This radio looked very much like the 1936 and 37 models, but the chassis was actually almost identical to that of the slanted front models also manufactured in this year.  In a way, this was a legacy model for those not comfortable buying a radio with more controversial styling.  This was also one of the first radios I refinished.
