This was Philco's attempt at an entry level radio for 1930. It's $49.50 (without tubes) price was affordable, and with a nice design and decent performance it was a huge success for Philco. This particular radio was originally from Maine, but unfortunately shows some broken scrollwork in the grille, despite being in good condition otherwise.
